Well some semi good news. My aunt did away with the "time limit" for turning off the machines. And thankfully, he showed signs of improvement. And the extra time allowed them to find a problem they somehow missed before that was rather simple to fix and improved his condition immensely. Of course, he is still in a coma, still battling infection, his blood pressure is running at stroke levels. So no ones really sure if there is hope. But everyones holding out.

I quit my job. Already. Turns out DitzyChick has morals. Damn morals. It's nice to sleep again. That one or two hours of sleep was getting to me and I was taking it out on my kids. I decided it was for their best interest that I didn't push myself like that.

After a fight with Jerry I decided to cancel my insurance so he would get his money back. I have to wait till I actually get the policy in my hands before I can call in to cancel under the 15 day review clause. So if it's not here tomorrow morning I am calling to find out why it hasn't arrived. My insurance is due to start up the 15th, seems like I should have recieved the card and paperwork by now. We were getting along but of course that always ends. And I am not going to be guilted into staying in something.

I think my friend is falling for someone! I am so happy for him!!! I hope he don't screw it up this time!!! I am actually really getting into that guy who I am sorta engaged to? lol sounds so bad He is funny, and a Christian, and cute but not in a cocky way, and ambitious, getting ready to graduate, interning with the Eagles this fall... but for some reason I am not "really" falling for him, so I am thinking about just flat out telling him before things go to far in his mind. Maybe its because he is an Eagles fan. *shudder* If only it were that simple to figure out why I only fall for the jerks!

Now the baby is up for another bottle, and Jerry is stomping around upstairs, and I am just hopelessly bored. Hopefully will have something interesting to write about next week.

 Fave Band "Bright Eyes"

I knew a woman, she was dignified and true. Her love for her man was one of her many virtues.
Until one day, she found out that he had lied and she decided the rest of her life,
from that point on would be a lie. But she was grateful for everything that had happened.
And she was anxious for all that would come next. But then she wept.
What did you expect? In that big, old house with the cars she kept.
"Oh!" and "such is life," she often said. With one day leading to the next,
you get a little closer to your death, which was fine with her.
She never got upset and with all the days she may have left,
she would never clean another mess or fold his shirts or look her best.
She was free to waste away alone.

 Bored

Your Heart Is Pink

In relationships, you like to play innocent - even though you aren't.
Each time you fall in love, it's like falling for the first time.

Your flirting style: Coy

Your lucky first date: Picnic in the park

Your dream lover: Is both caring and dominant

What you bring to relationships: Romance

I am getting addicted to these things.

 On My Mind

Don't forget to let people know just how much you appriciate them for anything and everything they might have meant to you. Tonight I am wondering if I ever really thanked Greg for the help and support he was to me at a time when I greatly needed it. Or expressed any recognition that he was most likely the sole reason my aunt sobered up and stayed clean. He had been her rock. Her one solid ground after they met when she was in mandatory rehab. He was a volunteer there after having been sober 8 years himself. Now I am wondering what this is going to do to her. We are all afraid she is going to slip back up. She feels guily for being the one operating the boat, even though it was a complete accident. But in her mind his death is on her hands. And guilt like that doesn't subside easily. So my prayers drift to her handling this.
The doctors have said there is nothing left for them to do. His fever spiked this morning and is only dropping for short amounts of time before returning to 106 or greater. The only thing keeping him going is the respirator. His father signed the rights over to her. So now she has to decided to honor his wishes or follow her own feelings. She admitted that when they talked about this before he had said under no circumstance did he want lifesupport. But she isn't ready to give up yet. It is killing me to think of what she is going through. But she came to the only resolution she could. She is going to give it 72 hours of prayer, and if there is no change, she will have the machines turned off. My mother is already making arrangements to be there for her. I hate being so far away from home. I have no way at all of being there for anyone. It's just a terrible situation all around. Greg losing his life too early. Her having to feel like she is the one taking his life. I just keep wondering how this stuff comes to happen.
I have to stop on that for a while. My minds in overload.
I am supposed to work tonight. I managed to find a job. I don't see me being able to after this news. And then there was the fact that JJ has been vomiting since early this afternoon. He wont keep any formula down . ihave been giving him pedialyte and trying to keep him hydrated. I am hoping it will pass by morning, but if it doesn't we will be at the doctors. I havn't had any sleep because I had to work the last two nights as well. So I am basically an emotional mess on the inside waiting for the littlest thing to set me off. I hate the idea of taking off though. I am on the "probationary" period. I am supposed to work six days this week and I need to get in at least 25 hours by Saturday to make enough for the first payroll. I have at least one obligation tonight that really screws me if I switch days. Plus I am unable to supply the 24 hour notice as I am supposed to start at 12 am. Blah blah blah this sucks. It never fails for a single woman to have her child get sick right when she starts a new job? I mean doesn't that always seem to happen? I know a few people who have had this same experience. And you always get that doubt once you return to work, like your job is on the line. After all, your first week and you already have had to call off. You know in their mind they are wondering what good reason is there to keep you. Heres to hoping things ease up a bit. Adjustment periods always suck.
Oh I also got engaged again. Thats a long story though. But bottom line I need to stop making bets I have little chance of winning.
